Theresa M Bell
Master of Science in Psychology
Studying Christian Counseling/Substance Abuse
Born Theresa Maureen Bell on October 28th, 1970. Ms. Bell experienced an abusive and painful childhood. She married young hoping to escape the cycle of pain, but found that she married into an even greater painful experience. She refused to allow the pain in her life to dictate to her what her life would be. She vowed that she would break the cycle that had been the pathology in her family for quite a few generations. She began by ending her marriage of 20 years in 2007. She believed that if she could endure all that she had been through, then she had the strength to raise her 3 children as a single-mother. Next she broke contact with anything and anyone who were negative in her life and surrounded herself with a support group of friends that encouraged her to strive to achieve her best in life. She enrolled into college and sought to acquire the documents that would prove her certification of the experiences she has already experienced. She studied psychology to understand why she had to experience the behaviors of others as she did. She decided to use the education along with her experience to talk and to mentor others as well as help them to overcome the same types of tragedies in life that she had faced. She began with her own children. Helping them to understand living in a single-parent household and teaching them principles that would develop their character and their confidence. She taught them the word of God and the importance of having a relationship with God. The testimonies of her children’s lives are the representation of who Ms. Bell learned to become.

Theresa Bell received the name Mama B from the high school students during her first year as a Clark County School District Bus Driver and it has rolled with her through the years. She is a woman that is looked up to in the community by her high school and middle school students, who express to her that she is an awesome school bus driver. They told her that they appreciate her caring. She spends the top part of her morning and her afternoon, telling the students that they are welcome as each of them say thank you as they excite her bus. They have a great deal of respect for her and she treats the as such. She treats the students as if they were her own children. Even the behavioral students that she has encountered have received words of wisdom from Mama B. Words that have made a difference in their life. She recalled the first young man she ever talked to. A young man who had been expelled from school for his behavior. She noticed that he was very angry. She talked to the young man about his appearance and told him the stereo-type that he was portraying would not get him very far in life. That he would continue to receive the treatment that he was getting because of the presentation he was offering. She did not think the young man was listening, but when he left she noticed that he pulled up his pants and began to walk differently. Mama B has been told that her conversation seems to make sense by the youth that she has talked with. At that statement, she knew then that it was her purpose to speak life into the generations who crossed her path.
The life that she lives has caught the attention of single mothers who text her for advice, and they listen to her guidance in finding their passion and their purpose in life. They often call her Visionary Mama B because she has prophesied certain things in their life and those things have come to pass. She has witnessed a few of the girls live the life of their dreams because of the wisdom that she has shared with them. She is a woman of faith. She was born Pentecostal at Trinity C.O.G.I.C in Hawthorne, NV and she was raised in Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV, where she was led by the guidance of Dr. Robert E. Fowler SR. He is her mentor and she trust in his guidance for herself and the life of her children. She has now teamed up with Dr. James T. Miller and his vision at City of Life Worship Center Int'l.
She is also the founder of Resilient Truths, a website designed to reach people where they are at and give them the spiritual food that they need. She is in the process of developing a website for her women's ministry at the request of the women that she ministers too. She is currently aligning with women from all across the valley to present a conference that empowers and reaches the heart of women.
She is also known for being a servant in the community, who has opened her home to several individuals in need of shelter, food, clothing, and furniture. These are individuals whom had found themselves broken heart-ed, homeless, unemployed, in abusive relationships, and those escaping failed marriages. While in her presence her conversation is ministry to them. Some of the accomplishments have been helping a single-father regain custody of his son from Child Haven and his father from a nursing home. She provided resources for them to go back home to New York to their family. Another accomplishment was providing shelter and employment to a single-mother and assisted her in getting back on her feet. Her desire is to bring her vision called Humbled Beginnings into a nationally known resource center to help all of those in need and rehabilitate them back into society.
She is equipped with a radical faith where she tries to express the love of God everywhere she attends. She seeks diligently to supply the needs of the people. She is known in the community by some for making sure that those in her presence are well fed and have a comfortable place to rest their head. She believes that non one should have to struggle for the basic necessities of life. She strives to give peace in their mind, body, and their soul. She believes that when a person is deprived from rest, their entire day is stressed to the degree that everything and everyone around that individual experiences an uncomfortable atmosphere. Minister Bell is a reflection of the Samaritan woman. She implants wisdom and spiritual guidance to everyone who crosses her path and has a desire to listen. She purposely chooses daily to walk in love and experience life from that perspective. Through her accomplishments and her love toward others, she was asked to be a member of Mayor Goodman’s Faith Initiative Team.
She loves to promote her health and wellness business because her health and ultimately her life were spared with a simple box of Green Tea. She began drinking the product because she liked the taste and learned at her doctor’s visit that she had lost weight and she only needed to lose 20 more pounds to get rid of her Type 2 Diabetes. She became a distributor and a spokesperson for the product. She does not claim that the product cures or that it will do anything for anyone. She simply shares her experience and gives others the opportunity to have their own personal experience.
